There’s a noodle chain store in Guangzhou that has a very funny English name, it’s called Let Me In but in doesn’t means Let Me In in Chinese. It’s 靓面轩 (cantonese:leng min hin). It’s famous for the Wan Tan Noodle (Wan Tan Mee).

Manila Place is not in Philiphines but in Gurney Plaza Penang. It’s also not a restaurant that serves Filipino’s food but a combination of local of western cuisine. So, it’s more likely a beautiful restaurant/cafe with a variety of food in the menu.

Recently, I went to Kocha Taiwanese Restaurant at Burma Road for lunch. What I had ordered was the 3 Cups Chicken (as direct translate from Chinese 三杯鸡 san1 bei1 ji1). My friend brought this to school. A very nice looking tin of peppermint which his sister bought back from USA recently. The tin is made in China while the mint is made in USA.
