It’s dinner time and Kenny, my friend don’t want to eat at hawker stalls or fast food restaurant so he suggested to eat out at Breeks Cafe, located at the alfresco area of Gurney Plaza. It’s a western food oriented restaurant. It had been quite some times I didn’t visit to Breeks, probably because there’s no Breeks in KL and no one invite me to go there. Yes I am like that one, if no one invite me, I wouldn’t go to a mid-price restaurant myself. Maybe I’m selfish. Haha.
Anyway, cut the crap and let’s get into food. I ordered one of the set dinner which is the Fish and Chicken Combo which comes with fish fillet and grilled chicken, side dish with some salad and that’s all. To be honest, I have a big stomach and these don’t fill my stomach well but as taste wise, they are pretty good. Try it with their special BBQ sauce and it’s pretty nice.
Kenny ordered a smoked salmon sandwich from the ala carte menu. It comes with sandwich, sald and french fries. According to him, it taste good but from the look, they didn’t look well-presented. But the most important is still the taste right?
Breeks Cafe is at Gurney Plaza and also Queensbay Mall, Penang.
I didn’t really know about this place and if you ask me where is it right now, I still couldn’t tell you where is it but I have a business card here. The cafe is located in Kuchai Lama, KL and the name is Indulge Cafe. So how I went there was basically the guide of the GPS. Haha.
So last week, I went to this Indulge Cafe just to try a crepe cake, introduced by my friend Wanyi. I don’t really know what’s a crepe cake, it’s like layering cake and it’s cold and best of all it’s yummy! Wonderful homemade crepe cake. We ordered a big cake of it for Nita’s birthday and she was happy and everyone was happy too! I like it.
They do serve western food other than desserts.

Last week, I went to eat lunch in my university. It’s the Dessert’s Bar Cafe. The offer a variety of western food and cakes and also beverage. I bought a cake for birthday before at there and it’s pretty good. Located on level 2 between block C and block D of Taylor’s University.
I ordered a Grilled Mushroom Chicken. They gave me a number and I have to wait for the food at my table.
Here we go. It’s a chicken breast and it’s not very hard. What’s special is the gravy and the mashed potato, it’s pretty nice. Good try.
Fish and Chips at Ikea is awesome.
But to be honest, Meatballs at Ikea is wonderful!
